1.This chart is intended to help you plan your studies. You will be re-tested when you arrive at ILAC.2. Students can finish their level earlier if they score well on the practice Cambridge test which takes place every second week. Fast track students will be entitled to a tuition refund, applied towards their college/university fees.3. The program progresses from General English (Beginner to High-Intermediate), followed by the Academic Pathway Program (Pre-Advanced to High-Advanced). Students begin the program depending on their entry English level. Students with an English level equal to an IELTS band 4.5 or TOEFL IBT 55 require 20-28 weeks minimum to complete the Pathway certificate. Students with English levels below 4.5 IELTS will begin in our General English program and will require a greater length of study.

HOLIDAY POLICYRegular classes are closed during Canada’s official holidays. Regular classes in Toronto are closed on Toronto’s official holidays. Regular classes in Vancouver are closed on Vancouver’s official holidays. When a holiday is on a Monday, ILAC will be open for orientation of new students but will be closed for regular classes.
Academic Pathway students must start on the main start dates. Students in the General English program may start on either main or alternate start dates.
