WHAT ARE ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS ?Anti-wrinkle treatment is a prescription medicine that is injected into the facial muscles to relax them and is used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe signs of ageing. A popular method of softening facial expression lines.

Profiloplasty, the latest trend in Aesthetics
Aesthetic medicine has developed enormously since I have started in this field in 2008, I do remember 10 years ago I used to treat few areas like the frown lines, crows feet, nasolabial fold and lips using basic techniques with anti-wrinkle injections (Botox) and Dermal fillers.
Nowadays, our understanding of the facial Anatomy, ageing process and skin and facial tissue’s changes has advanced to the level that we can restructure the face not only rejuvenate it.
So what is Profiloplasty? Profiloplasty is a term which describes a facial reshaping treat-ment or procedure designed to improve the balance and harmony between the features, improving the silhouette.
Thanks to modern non-surgical techniques, this treatment can now be achieved without general anaesthetic or surgical intervention and with minimal downtime using Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Perfect facial proportions are rare, but Profiloplasty can help patients achieve perfectly proportioned eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, jawline and chin.

What does it involve?
Non surgical Rhinoplasty: By using dermal fillers to soften the appearance of nasal humps and to slightly lift the tip of the nose.
Chin augmentation: Receding or under projected chin can make your nose look bigger, because it isn’t prominent enough to balance your nose. Therefore, using dermal fillers can help to balance and augment the chin and it can also make the chin more narrow which is more feminine and attractive.

Lip balancing: Lips are very important in facial mathematics as it is in the centre of the face. Small amount of dermal fillers can balance the ratio between upper and lower lips which will eventually give a nice and a natural proportion on your profile view.

My advice, go for something more medical, something proven to get results by a brand that will deliver. Two key active ingredients which I believe are essential to maximise aesthetic results are retinol and glycolic acid.Retinol has been the Gold-Standard of anti-ageing skincare since the 1980s. Derived from vitamin A, it enhances cell renewal and collagen formation. It is also excellent for anyone who suffers from acne, uneven skin texture, loss of elasticity or saggy skin and wrinkles and it is a game changer in the treatment of pigmentation. Both treatments are available at our Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill clinics. At Swiss Care we have our in-house cosmetic teeth whitening technician Marita. She is here to answer any of your teeth whitening questions.
How white will my teeth go after the treatment ?The intense treatment ranges from between 4-10 shades, but this depends on the colour of the teeth prior to the treatment. The express treatment will aim to get your teeth 4-6 shades whiter.
Is teeth whitening safe ?Yes, teeth whitening is safe if you fallow each product’s guidelines carefully. The gel is applied to each tooth individually and a retractor protects the gums from any irritation. The only side affect which does not affect all clients the same way, is temporary sensitive teeth, but this will pass after 48 hours
How long do the results last ?Our whitening treatments are formulated to give you long lasting results. But the results will vary depending on the type of whitening you opt for. Lifestyle choices such as drinking drinks that stain teeth will make them yellow again over time. We recommend having 1 hour express treatment as a follow up every 4-8 months to maintain your white smile.

What is Threading ?
Threading is an ancient hair removal technique practised for centuries, originating from Asia and the Middle East. It is the best alternative to tweezing and waxing as it is much kinder on the skin and also on the hairs. It is also the best technique to get a precise well defined shape.
How Threading works and is it painful ?
A thin cotton thread is twisted and swept along the skin in a rhythmic movement, the unwanted hairs are secured in the thread and removed with precision and care. Threading causes less discomfort to the skin then waxing. You can target hairs whilst adding precision and preventing discomfort. There is also no exposure to irritants and suitable for sensitive skin.

Why get microblading?
With fuller brows being popular, more and more women are rushing to purchase pencils, powders, brow gels, and are even having traditional tattooing done to create that fuller look. Often times, however, those options leave women with ‘marker-like’ eyebrows that either don’t look good or look downright fake. Even worse, the powders, pencils and gels can come off relatively easily, leaving others wondering
where those big eyebrows vanished to. So what do you do? You get them microbladed.
What is it?
Microblading is a relatively new semi-permanent makeup option that gives women real looking eyebrows in just a few hours.
How long does it last?
Microblading is considered only to be “semi-permanent,” meaning the
results can last anywhere from one to three years. It is recommended having microbladed brows touched up annually to retain the shape and colour.

What are ‘Individual Eyelash Extensions’ ?
Applying individual Eyelash Extensions is a method for lengthening and thickening the appearance of your eyelashes. High quality, synthetic mink or silk based extensions are applied to each individual natural eyelash, one at a time. This process leads to an incredibly natural, head turning finish.
Can Eyelash Extensions harm my own Eyelashes ?
When applied carefully by a fully qualified, certified and ensured technician individual eyelash extensions will not hard your eyes.
What is an infill?
Everyone’s natural lash growth cycle is different. But as lashes grow, old ones fall out. Infills allow clients to maintain a beautiful look for longer. A few new extensions are added to the re growth to maintain an even spread. Infills can be applied from 2-3 weeks after initial application and makes maintenance simple.
How long will my lash extensions last?
Your eyelash extensions will last 2-4 weeks provided you follow the after -care instructions. As your eyelashes grow you can expect most of the extensions to start to shed. At this point an infill is recommended.
All treatments require a patch test 24 hours prior. Infill prices are based on 50% of your lashes on when returning 2-3 weeks after treatment, otherwise will be charged for a full set.
