Metro Mid-week: Please plan to join us as we dive deeper into "Ellen White Under Fire." So far we have learned that each of the criticisms of Ellen White are little more than a re-hash of unfounded criticisms from the 1800s. This week we began studying models of inspiration and how inspiration actually happens within the prophetic gift. Don't miss out. You will be blessed!
Unlock Revelation II: Thursday, January 5th at 7 pm. Please plan to join us as we wrap up this series together. Once this series is completed, the group will transition to a small group Bible study led by Stacey Francois and hosted at the home of Floyd and Pauline Conley on Friday evenings.
Special Meditative Vespers: Sabbath, January 14th, 5:30 pm Flutist Melissa-Kay Grey, MM and pianist Naki Kripfgans DMA, share, through a meditative vespers, a luminous collection of music including a selection of birds and their characteristics from the Americas to Indonesia. Pieces include the notorious blackbird (Messiaens Le Merle Noir), shimmering nightingale (Popps Nightingale Serenade) and brilliant Birds of Paradise (Shalumit Rans Birds of Paradise). In addition to these bird-like selections the duo will be performing colorful pieces including Barcarole and Scherzo by Alfredo Casella. The flute duo will be joined by Camille Aragones and Friends. Plan now to join in this special musical experience and bring a friend.

Church Renovation Project: Total project goal is $220,000. Stage 1 Goal of the fundraising is $100,000 of which we have raised $95,412 and spent $13,475. We have $81,937 on hand. Once we reach the Stage 1 Fundraising Goal, we will borrow $100,000 from the Lake Union. Please help us reach that goal!

January Potluck: January 15 we have the privilege of hosting GLAA choir and orchestra. Im looking forward to a special potluck. Please come, we need your presence and warmth. Also, please bring extra food and good cheer to make the young people and all our other guests feel welcome and appreciated.
