What is Contract Management and why do you need it?
However, recurring work is often mismanaged and results in lost revenue.
In the service industry, recurring work is considered to be fixed income and good business practice.
Contract management is the tool you will need to effectively manage work that recurs annually, quarterly or monthly.
How does it work?
Define a Contract similar to creating a work order
Define the recurring schedule
Indicate how many days before the defined schedule you would like to auto generate the work order
At the appropriate date, the work order will be auto generated
Step 1. Add and save a Contract by selecting a customer.
Step 2. Add a Service to the contract. You may add multiple Services to the same customer contract.
Step 3. Select a service provider. Define the schedule times. Note the number of days before which the work order needs to be auto generated.
Step 4. Fill in the Work Description. Add any required Products. Specify Checklist/Notes
Step 5. Verify schedule.
On the defined date at am, the work order will be auto-generated.
Auto-generated work orders will be designated by (r) in the work order number. e.g. This number will also correspond to the order number in the contract management page.
