Ahmedabad: Emotions ran high at the city airport onMonday noon
as survivors of Nepal earthquake met theirnear and dear ones. Tears
rolled down from every eye
asrelativeshuggedtheirlovedonesandthankedGodfortheirsafereturn.
Mahendrabhai, who had come to receive his parents,said that the
fact that his parents are back safely is
thehappiestmomentofhislife.
Around35personsofSwaminarayansectbelongingtoManinagarwhowerepartof80membergroupofNepaltourreturnedfromDelhionMondaybyaprivateairline.Therestof
themembers are likely to return on
Tuesdaymorning.Thesurvivorsnarratedhorridtalesofquake
inKathmanduwhichremindedthemofthe2001disasterinGujarat.
The Sheshpal couple could not thank God enough asthey
wereminutes away from disaster before they
luckilyescaped.Wewerestandinginaqueuetotakeropewayrideto Manokamna
temple which is 100km away
fromKathmandu.Itsohappenedthathalfofourgroupincludingmeandmywifewerenotallowedtoenterthegatesasthecapacity
got full. We were waiting to join our
othermemberswhentheearthstartedshaking.Theropewayandthetemplelocatedonheightcollapsedlikepackofcardsinfront
of our eyes. Thewhole villagewasdestroyedbutweescaped safely , said
