OZAT® CFS SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGYThe CFS range is Ozonia’s second generation development ofgeneratorsforsmalltomediumsizedozoneapplications.Thedesignisbasedonfeedbackfromhundredsofoperatorsandincludesthelatest technology to ensure continuous operation at full-load inindustrialenvironments.
An OZAT®CFSunitismade-upfromtheozonegeneratorpart,thepowersupplyforthehighvoltagemediumfrequencysupplytothegenerator,control system,process relatedcontrolequipmentandinterconnections.Thecontrolsystemensuresflexibleoperationandallowsintegrationintoalltypesofplantconcepts.
HOW IT WORKSOzone,thetriatomicformofoxygen, isgeneratedbyrecombiningoxygenatomswithoxygenmolecules.Thisprocesstakesplace inthegapbetweenthedielectriclayeronthehighvoltageelectrodeandanearthelectrodeintheozonegenerator.Whenhighvoltageisappliedtothisarrangementasilentelectricaldischargeoccursinthegapwhichexcitestheoxygenmoleculesinthefeedgasflowingthroughthegapwhichcausesthemtosplitandcombinewithotheroxygenmoleculestoformozone.
