PYRAMID Materials: 12
straws,20 paperclips ,several strips of construction paper.
Our goal was to hold at least 50 pennies or screws.
Mine holded 173 pennies!
CUBE We made a cube
out of straws. A cube can be
stronger with triangles so I put pyramids inside.
The goal I set for myself was to hold 4 books or 74 cups and that it will drop at the 5 book or 7 cups.
COLUMNS Building
columns! We used paper
rolls to see how many books it could hold and see if it was stronger if we put salt in it.
COLUMNS Hands on work! Creating a
Roman, Doric, Ionic My Own or a Corinthian out of clay.
Used clay and rolled it up on the paper roll.
BRIDGE We made a bridge
out of paper ,we used 3 sheets of 8 ½ 11.
It had to hold at least 50 pennies.
The best bridge structure was the truss witch lead us to hold about 200 pennies.
DOWNTOWN TOUR
We went for a tour in downtown!We saw many building and skyscrapers We walked 3 miles!!We had lunch with the mayor Also it was very fun
GINGERBREAD HOUSELook at my Gingerbread house!We made a gingerbread house out of candy , frosting, graham crackers and more!
PASADENA LIBRARY
Ms. Reed got some books from the library! She picked out some books I could use for my research!
EIFFEL TOWERWe built the Eiffel tower! We built it out of popsicle sticks. We used popsicle sticks, hot glue. Then we designed it and had to be able to stand up and it did.
CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
The children’s museum was awesome! I went climbing, went to a science lab and more...!
PLAY “THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER”
We went to see the best Christmas pageant ever! It was about some bad kid that turned good while practicing a play they were doing about Jesus 'Birth.
