Who is RPS Marketing? We are one of the largest independent rep groups working with Amazon. We have twelve team members who work with Amazon every day. This team represents over 70 years combined experience and a strong daily working relationship with all facets of Amazon’s organization.
Our team has a passion for merchandising, and an acute interest in driving the growth and profitability of our strategic vendor partners on the Amazon retail platform.
Program DevelopmentOur most important task is always to establish and maintain your presence on Amazon’s site with full and accurate information.
What we can do for you initially:
• Assist with the initial account setup process• Develop a pricing strategy• Establish initial retail pricing• Setup catalog using enhanced content to maximize page relevance and sales• Format, upload and manage images• Cross-browse products to ensure they are featured in applicable categories
Catalog ManagementWhat we do on an ongoing basis:
• Communicate new policies and opportunities to help ensure content and product sales exceed Amazon’s expectations
• Submit new items in a timely manner so the items are first to market on Amazon• Research and respond to Andon Cord issues
Andon Cords are generated when there is an issue with a product. The product is then shutoff until the issue is resolved.
• Initiate and manage price updates and catalog changes• Monitor operational and sales performance• Continuously analyze vendor presence and individual product detail pages for
consistency and accuracy
Growing the BrandAmazon’s “hands off the wheel” strategy is placing more sales building back on vendors. We work closely with our vendor sales and marketing groups to help them develop programs that will maximize sales.
What we do to help advance your brand:
• Upload advanced content, including videos, instructional PDF’s and additional lifestyle images
• Design and build A+ detail pages to help increase sales conversion• Merge 3P duplicate pages to improve customer experience and brand consistency• Variate products where applicable to maximize relevance and exposure• Develop promotional calendars to include the following:
AMS (Amazon Marketing Services) Ads: Product Display Ad, Headline Search Ad and Sponsored Product AdPromotions: Deal of the Day, Lightning Deal, Best Deal, Vendor Powered Coupons and Subscribe & Save

Our customer service department has over 10 years experience working with Amazon and our vendors and extensive knowledge of Amazon expectations and processes.
• Coordinate Vendor Central and Dropship Central training, both initially and ongoing• Communicate changes to Amazon procedures and expectations• Assist vendors in integrating their procedures with Amazon to minimize both effort and
chargebacks• Review monthly scorecard performance• Help resolve pricing, chargeback, shipment, order and payment issues• Maintain a strong presence with both the Merchandising and Accounting teams at
Amazon• Because of our broad range of experience in vendor operations and our reputation with
buying teams, Amazon turns to us for feedback regarding both existing vendor operational issues and beta test initiatives
Customer Service
Teamwork What we need from you:
• Dedicated customer service, shipping and accounts receivable contacts for Vendor Central functions
• Marketing support contact to provide all content information, including specs, product and lifestyle images, videos and marketing descriptions
• EDI contact to coordinate EDI setup and troubleshooting, including Vendor Central and Dropship Central inventory control, POs, ASNs, and invoicing
• Sales contact to work promotions, rebates and deals
