Foundation Mapping to SVQ Level 2
Reflective Learning
•The 10 Self Reflective learning cases provide a rich opportunity for individuals to evidence how their knowledge and understanding informs their work practice – reviewed by a occupationally competent and qualified assessor
Reflective Learning
•Would enable SVQ performance criteria to be claimed in a holistic way across the SVQ Units – the number of points that can be claimed towards each unit will depend on the level of detail and reflection the individual provides in their 10 reflective cases
Reflective Learning
•SVQ candidates are encouraged to provide specific work practice examples, as this will place them in a strong position to cover the performance criteria as well as knowledge points required to meet the SVQ units -these should be reference to the points they relate to throughout their work

DOP
•Witness observation will need to be reviewed and the points for knowledge and performance criteria accepted by the SVQ assessor before it can contribute evidence towards the individual's SVQ
DOP
•Candidates should be encourages to familiarise themselves with the contents of the SVQ units as this ensure that their written work is appropriately focussed on the units (the national occupational standards) they are working towards.
