Year 6 High School Transition
Our Year 6 students have ventured to Richmond River High School
today for their first orientation day. These days are very crucial for
our students and they support them in transitioning to high school.
There will be a final whole day orientation opportunity on Tuesday 1
December.
Rosebank Public School Vision Statement 2021-2024
Staff and students are currently drafting an updated vision
statement for our School Implementation Plan 2021-2024 to be
consulted further with our community in Term 1 2021. Our school
vision belongs to everyone within our school and together our vision
is what we should all strive to achieve. If you have any ideas to add
to our new school vision, in regards to Growth and Attainment,
Assessment, Feedback, Connectedness and Sustainability please
contact the school office to arrange a chat with Mrs Thomson, send
in a note titled ‘School Vision’, pop your thoughts in an email,
[email protected] or attend our next scheduled
P&C meeting this Wednesday. Our post, 2018-2020 School Plan can
be accessed on our Rosebank Public School Website.
End of Year Events
November and December are always busy and this year is no
exception. Make sure to keep up to date with this week’s activities
and those coming up. A note will be sent out shortly to Year 6
families re our Year 6 Farewell Dinner at Uncle Lim’s Asian Fusion
Restaurant on Friday 11 December and details around our
Presentation Day format.

Mathematic Magic!
P&C Zoom Meeting
Our next P&C Zoom meeting is this Wednesday 25 November at
5.30pm. The link will be provided in our closed Facebook group
and sent to the email, families have provided to the school.
Online Enrolment System
The Online Enrolment system is designed to provide flexibility for
our parents to submit an enrolment application online and at
the time that best suits you. The application can be accessed
on all browsers and mobile devices including iOS and android.
The online application process is currently restricted to:
• Enrolments into local schools only
• Children who are Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or
permanent residents
• Children who live in NSW
We offer our support and encourage you to complete your
application to enrol online. If, however, you do not feel
comfortable completing an application online, a paper copy
will be available for collection from the front office or can be
downloaded from the Department’s, ‘Going to a Public School’
site. Further information about online enrolment can be found
on our website in the Enrolment section.

If you are yet to finalise outstanding payments with the school,

Dorroughby Environmental Art Camp 2020
Congratulations, Gabriella, Sophia and Beau for representing our school exceptionally well at the
Environmental Art Camp. Students participated in nature journaling, drumming for wellbeing, mural
painting, 360 technology, botanical dyeing, nature photography, shadow puppetry, tribal activities,
waterfall and clay figures, marine debris art, screen printing, yoga, circus activities, performed a
sustainability show and viewed a digital exhibition of their achievements to round off the Arts Camp for
2020.
Thank you, Cindy Picton and Dorroughby Environmental Education Centre for giving our students these
amazing opportunities.
