Homework This year each child will receive a Homework Contract Book as part of their School Fee Contribution. Half of the orders have arrived from our supplier and we are waiting on the rest of the order. We have distributed the books we have received to students and will distribute the remaining books when we receive them. There is a set contract per week. It is expected that students complete the set contract each week and return their book each Friday to school for marking. Parents and carers may like to cover the book with contact or plastic to protect the book for the year. Library Borrowing Library borrowing occurs each Monday. Students are asked to have a library bag to transport books in their bags from school to home and return. Some students have overdue books and are not able to borrow more until these books have been returned. Please have a search at home and return any overdue books. Bus Travel All new students need to apply for a school bus pass. All current Year 3 students need to reapply for bus travel. Please go online at https://transportnsw.info/travel-info/using-public-transport/school-travel to apply. It is important that this is completed within the next two weeks. If you have any problems or concerns please ask Jen or Kim in the school office for assistance. Uniforms Uniforms are an important part of belonging to a team or community. At Rosebank we wear our uniform with pride. Attached is our uniform requirements. All uniforms can be purchased through the school office. We also have some second-hand items. If any families have outgrown their uniforms and would like to donate them to our second-hand pool, we would appreciate it. Please ensure all items are labelled with your child’s name so they can be returned if misplaced. Student Absences If your child is away from school due to illness or injury, please inform the school as soon as possible in writing or via the school office. If we are not informed within 7 days the absence is automatically recorded as an unjustified absence from school.

Clean Up Australia (School Day Event) Friday 28 February we will be participating in the Clean Up School Day as part of the wider Clean Up Australia event. Students are asked to bring in a pair of gardening gloves to wear to protect their hands during the event.

Have an awesome week everyone! From Juanita, Oliver, Kim and Jen (The Rosebank Team).

We respectfully acknowledge the Elders past and

present of the Wijabul Wiyabul people and other

peoples of the Bunjalung Nation.

They are the first peoples of this land, which has long

been a place of learning for Aboriginal people.
