WHEREAS, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin is cOlIIDitted to develop astable, diversified local econany and economic activities which provide jobs,prO[lX)te economic well being and reduce dependency on welfare services, and

WHEREAS, the opportunity exists to develop four convenience item, gasoline,diesel and cigarette outlets at various Reservation locations as described inthe ANA objective work plan, and

\-.'HERFAS, the Administration for Native Arre.rican through the Depa~nt ofHealth and Human Services has multi-year grant funds available for thedetailed feasibility analysis and impleIIEntation work required to make theseproj ects a real,ity.

Nail THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisco~stands cornmitteed to follow the recommendations of the feasibility work tdescribed herein, and hereby requests funding from ANA to perfo:rm thoseactivities. .
