Scranton, Penna.To the Bankers of Pennsylvania,D e a r F r ie n d s :
Please regard this as your personal invitation to attend the 1935 Convention to be held at Scranton next week. The Committee has endeavored to present an attractive series of events, as set forth in the enclosed official program. In our opinion the Convention sessions will provide a distinctive contribution to the discussions on banking subjects now occupying the attention of the general public and the entire banking fraternity.
The Scranton Committee is anticipating a splendid attendance of visiting bankers and their ladies. We believe that all who attend this Convention will be well repaid in their visit to this important industrial section of our great Commonwealth.
We trust that you w ill arrange to meet with us. I t is a privilege for me, on behalf of the Scranton Clearinghouse Association, to extend you a most hearty welcome and to urge you to share with us in these proceedings.
Faithfully yours,EDG AR A. JONES
May 28, 1935 . President
