MFSPT-25R1 is a paddle type flow switch suitable for wide range of non-hazardous
liquids. It offers less pressure drop over higher flow rates compared to other paddle
operated flow switches. These flow switches are usually factory set to customized
flow setting requirements for the user.
Operating Principle
The flow monitoring comprises a paddle system to which a permanent magnet is attached at one end. This paddle is pivoted on
the circular disc attached beneath the Hexagonal connector. Above this magnet a Reed switch is attached.
When the flow being monitored pushed against the paddle system, the paddle swings away. This actuates the reed switch
contacts. As soon as the flow is interrupted, the paddle moves back to its starting position, thus de-activates the reed switch
contacts.

Installation Instruction
The flow switch can be mounted in a horizontal or vertical pipeline but
must be located in a section of pipe where there is a straight run of at least
5 pipe diameters on each side of the switch.
