Oxyfuel Equipment
THE ORIG INAL
for Steel Industries
Adolf Messer GmbH, founded in 1898, developed the first oxyfuel
torches for welding and cutting. The company became the world-wide
renowned gas and welding technology manufacturer Messer
Griesheim GmbH. In 1999 the welding and cutting activities were
merged in the Messer Cutting & Welding GmbH, and have been
integrated into the MEC Holding GmbH in 2000. In February 2005 the
MEC Holding GmbH became part of the Messer World.
Our oxyfuel equipment for the steel industries is suitable for all
demands of the steel mill and metallurgical industries, for scrap yards
and foundries. The extensive product range covers all requirements in
the field of hand cutting and hand scarfing.
Robust and sturdy design complies fully with the special demands
and safety rules in steel industries. Constant quality controls guarantee
optimum application features and maximum operator safety.
Long-time experience and continuing development strengthens our
position as market leader in this product segment.
It is our foremost objective to achieve maximum benefit for the
customer. We achieve this by using the knowledge of our customers´
requirements, high technical competency and flexible, innovative
products. We take the highest quality measures as a necessity,
already since 1991 subjecting all company processes to quality
monitoring in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.

Powder Machine Cutting Torch MSP 3320 / 2 0 0
Powder distributor P 75Powder distributors serve to feed iron powder or iron/aluminium powder mixtures to the powder cuttingunits. The powder is ignited in the cutting/scarfing oxygen stream, thus providing increased heat. By meansof this additional heat stainless and heat-resistant steels, cast iron and a number of non-ferrous metals can be cut.
The powder distributor P 75 with “cyclonic” powdermixing system, pressure regulator, oil trap and air dryingunit are used to supply our SMB 600/663 hand cuttingtorches with powder attachment, AC 41 powder handcutting torches and MSP 3320/200 machine cutting torches.
