Our dear President Andrej Babis by Alan Svejk

Today, the famous Svejk family enters the Political Warfare battlefield without hesitation. Themission is simple: to attain that Andrej Babis, current Finance Minister and industrial tyco-on, will be elected as the new Czech President in 2018!

You see, I am simply tired of only passive reading all that Stratfor (private intelligenceagency) analyses about geopolitical challenges of the world. Today, I will actively give theiranalysts something to think about!

My well-informed U.S. Intelligence sources reported, that our American allies would like tohave Mr. Babis as the Prime Minister, reasoning, that a Prime Minister has more core compe-tences and warranties, than a President.

Well, from the point of a Czech citizen, I see the situation quite differently. We finally havean opportunity to get the best President in 25 years, after the so called Velvet Revolution.And such challenge can´t be ignored too long, by famous and brave Svejk family, full ofgallant soldiers and capable accountants, as my Grandpa was!

Andrej Babis is the man of many names and definitions. But some controversy belongs toany great personality, and frankly, we citizens want that, to have something to gossip andtalk about! The important thing is, that he is never boring, and he fascinates many peoplewith his spontaneous behavior. We Svejks know very well, why is this feature important forthe happiness of the state! It was enough of boring politicans!

It must also be recognized, that Mr. Babis made many extraordinary achievements, both inbusiness and politics. I don´t want to list all of his achievements here - I not such an admirer -but even his enemies must recognize that and respect that.

Since he entered the Czech politics, it is much more relaxed environment, and also the pub-lic view of our economy is better. There is even something like optimism. Mr. Babis simplybrings us the good things in many ways, and we see it, and we appreciate it.

Then, why not to ask him to become the President? He would be definitely beneficial for theCzech people. We could have some leader, that we could be proud of. And he would enter-

tain us also. That is simply him. Also, it can´t be ignored, how the person of Mr. Babis isconnected to the idea of Czecho-Slovakism, asserting and keeping the idea of Czecho-Slovak friendship and wide cooperation.

Of course, that he will reject this offer at first. But the idea has to start growing one day. Well- and it is today, with this public announcement!

In other words, I am starting a unique, long term project to help this state to get a good presi-dent. I don´t say that Mr. Babis has no mistakes - but who hasn´t them? It is too easy to criti -cize and complain. But the benefits are still much higher.

Anyway, this time, there will be a wide female support of this particular candidate. Womenshould decide the President this time, and what I heard, they also prefer this choice. There issimply nobody else so suitable.

And there goes the first slogan: "Czech Women Want Andrej Babis For President!"

You know, what makes me very certain about this candidate? In 2013, during the GeneralElection, Mr. Babis become famous by standing in the Prague Subway and personally pas-sing out donuts to surprised passers-by. If anybody else would do such thing, it would besimply ridiculous. But in his case - I don´t know, but it was something really modest in thisgesture.

Of course, that if you want to win an election, you have to do many things. But this wassimply so different. Of course, that advertisements of his political party were everywhere, butthis simple gesture was simply disarming.

I think that we can believe this man, and he won´t disappoint us. He can´t be worse than therest of our Presidents in the past...

So, now I will do what I have to do... and the rest will be a history and a Stratfor tale ;-)
