MONIZ, Helena Maria- Passed away peacefully after a long, 2 year battle of breast cancer on January 29, 2008 at the age of 42. She was the beloved mother of Ricardo and Joana Correia and family pet Daisy. Survived by parents Jeorge Vilela and Emilia Da Silva. Will be sadly missed by sister Cristina, nephew Shawn and nieces Ashley and Emily. Will be remembered by Elizabeth, Branden, and Daniela. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends. The viewing will be held on Friday Feb 1st from 5pm-9pm at the Oakview Funeral Home located at 56 Lakeshore Rd West in Oakvi l le. Amass wi l l be held on Sat Feb 2nd at 10am at St Joseph's Church located at 2451 Bronte Rd in Oakville. The burial service will follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.

MOIROUX, Reinaldo "Ray"- Born in Temuco, Chile on September 8, 1944. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 20, 2008 in Santiago, Chile. Ray will be remembered by his wife Carmen, loving son André and his wife Jane Gu-lian Moiroux and his loving daughters Mi-chelle and Nicole Moiroux. Ray came to Toronto in 1969 after studying in Chile, Ecuador and USA. He was an employee of CIBC for over 35 years. Cremation has taken place in Chile. A private memorial gathering will be held in Oakville. If de-sired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. HINDLE, Phyll is Joan Barbara (nee Wade)- 1935-2008, of Waterloo at the Freeport Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Hindle. Loving mother of Chris and his wife Judy of Montreal, Tim and his wife Janet of Guelph, Deb Deakin and her husband James of Waterloo and Rick of Oakville. Dear grandmother of Matthew, Stephen, Nicholas, Julia and Joshua. Also survived by her sisters Joyce Macaskill and her husband Peter of Halifax, Shirley Thompson and her husband Michael of Whistler, B.C., and her brother Ray Wade and his wife Lillian of Kingston. Predeceased by her sister Elaine Kyle and her husband Bill. The family will receive friends at David MacLeod Funeral Home, 617 King St., N., Waterloo (519-888-7700) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Maple Grove United Church, 346 Maple Grove Dr., Oakville on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Morar Murray-Hayes officiating. A visi tat ion period wi l l be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ontario C.G.I.T., the Canadian Cancer Society (Renal Cell Carcinoma Unit) or the Maple Grove united) or the Maple Grove United Church Lift Fund would be appreciated by the family. DAVIS, Nancy (nee Rossi)- Peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Ian Anderson House at the age of 46. Loving daughter of Maria Rossi and the late Virgilio Rossi. Cherished mother of Emily and Trevor. Beloved sister of Graziano (Karen), Ivana and John. Loving aunt of Nina. JENSEN, John Krogh- Suddenly, a t Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Beverley. MARKIEWICZ, Aleksandra- Peacefully after a long illness on Monday, January 28th, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife to her late husband Walter, Aleksandra is survived by her twin sister Ludmilla Suchowska, her loving sons Stan, Peter and Ian, daughters-in-law Mary and Patr ic ia, and grandchi ldren Thomas, Christopher, Jeremy and Lisette. Born in Poland, she survived World War II as a nurse in the operating theatre. She and her husband emigrated to Canada and raised their sons in Oakville in the 50’s and 60’s. She entered university in her 40's to graduate wi th a Ph.D. in psychology which she taught a t Marygrove College until her retirement. Memorial services to be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 12 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas St. E. in Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, dona-tion may be made to the Arthritis Society.
