•New NNSA “Universal” Supplemental Directive (SD) will require:• Sign-off of the plan between Supervisor and Participant prior to
the end of January each yearShows management commitment and investment in the processUp-front planning to ensure participant and supervisor agree and
understand the annual planEstablishes link to IDP development at the beginning of the year
and can be done during the former year appraisal discussions
•NNSA is discussing “Universal” SD requirement for 5-year continuing training for GTB through NTC online

• Example: NA-50 “Fusion” SeriesStreamlining multiple NA-50 training sessions, seminars, and discussion forums
into a single effort called the Fusion series
Improving the NA-50 cross-functional training experience and leveraging best training practices

Facilitating meaningful developmental opportunities
Establishing a repeatable process for conducing the Fusion series
