Huet as Cargill cocoa managing director in EuropePhilippe Huet has been appointed asthe new managing director cocoa forCargill’s business in Europe.Huet takes over from Harold

Poelma, who is now managing directorof Cargill refined oils Europe.Most recently Huet has overseen the

integration of German chocolate man-ufacturer Kakao Verarbeitung Berlininto Cargill’s cocoa and chocolate business.Since joining Cargill in 1995, Huet has held various

managerial positions across the company. In 2005 hejoined the management team of Cargill’s cocoa and choco-late business as commercial director for the Europeancocoa division.

Gerald Schubert headed up the Schubert subsidiaryInternational Packaging Systems before assuming the roleof Schubert sales division manager. Ralf Schubert leadsthe technical office and assembly division.Gerhard Schubert founded the company 46 years ago

and now his sons are taking leadership roles.The founder’s first box-erecting and gluing machine was

followed by the world’s first packaging robot, a packagingmachine control unit, the first F44 picker line, the TLMtop-loading packaging machine installed on an assemblyline and the world’s first transport robot.Gerhard Schubert GmbH is now a group of companies

with more than 900 employees worldwide.The team is completed by Peter Gabriel, commercial

director, and Peter Schneider, head of the materials man-agement division. Gerhard Schubert will retain his overallmanagement role and continue to devote himself to themarketing department.
