Communication update
EduLink One is now our primary method for communication with parents and carers.
We encourage parents to download the app which enables the school to send notifications directly to your phone
for free. Messages home will now appear as a notification. When a notification appears on your phone, tap the
notification or open the app to read your messages.
Messages can be accessed through the envelope icon.
Once a message has been read, you can tap the ARCHIVE button to move it out of your inbox. Messages cannot be
deleted, but archived messages will not be displayed in your main inbox.
Please note: if parents are unable to download the app, messages home will continue to be emailed or sent via text message. For additional help or queries regarding EduLink please email [email protected]

Committed to Achievement
Behaviour Expectations At Cox Green School it is our aim to promote positive behaviours and attitudes amongst our students and to
reward those students who contribute positively to both the school and the community.
This will be an essential feature of our students return in September and it will be critical that our students are
aware of the heightened expectations in and outside of the classroom. We believe that where mistakes are made,
students must have an opportunity to reflect on their behaviour to ensure that they understand the impact of
their actions. Students focus on their return will be to reflect on how they behave and support the Cox Green
Community. We believe all staff and students play a crucial role in facilitating this process by reflecting on
behaviours this will help guide students to successful outcomes.
From September new measures will be in place to support our students errors, ensuring they receive the
necessary interventions to avoid sanctions.
It is essential that our partnership with parents is strong and that we have your full support to ensure we all have
consistent standards for all of our students.

I decided that because I am doing PE for GCSE I would work very hard on
researching different sports and training in ones I wanted to continue
further.
I set up a 7 week course rotating between kayaking, paddle boarding and
sometimes canoeing at Taplow lake.
I have also managed to join Slough Town U14
girls football team. We have managed to get back to training but not games and are
only able to train with small groups but it is good it’s back on! I do this 2 times a
week. We normally do skills and drills but every week on a Thursday we do a 1km
run and we are working up to doing it more than once!

Student Sports Committee
This new group is being formed for the 2020-2021 school year. The key objective will be to provide a student voice
around issues to do with sport and PE in school. They will discuss key issues and organise events for students to
participate in. The Sports Committee will play an active role in supporting the PE Department by contributing to
sporting events and encouraging a healthy lifestyle within the school, through their new ambassadorial role.
