General Student Announcements: In April we will focus on the D in PRIDE, which is Determination: Set a goal and do the work to achieve it. Take a moment to reflect on the quote of the week. “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” Colin Powell TONIGHT is TUTTI FRUTTI NIGHT. Visit the Tutti Frutti in the Town & Country shopping center from 5:00-10:00pm, order a large cup of your favorite flavors and say you’re helping Stockdale High! SENIOR AUCTION is happening this Wednesday during lunch. Get your cash together and be ready to bid on one of our 19+ auctions. A list of seniors being auctioned off is posted on the glass case to the right of room 501. Spanish Honor Society Tutoring has moved rooms for this week. Tutoring will be held in room 1011 during Lunch on Wednesday, April 18th.

Prom Bid are on sale 4/17-4/23=$55.00; 4/24-5/4=$65.00. Students must have a current school ID and All debt must be cleared before purchasing Prom Bid. The debt list will be posted on library window. Picture Day is coming soon! Yearbook and ID Card pictures for next school year 2018-19 will be taken on Wednesday, April 18th. 9th & 10th graders will go during PE class and 11th graders will go during US History class. If you don’t have a PE class, you may take your picture before school, during lunch or after school in the gym. Please see Ms. Perez in the Activities Office with any questions. Need help in Math, Spanish, Science, English or History? College tutors are available in the library during the late start on Tuesdays and during lunch on Tuesday and Thursdays. Tutoring-Peer tutoring is available in the library on Tuesdays after school from 2:45-3:00. You can get help with any subject and it’s FREE!!! Auditions for the Advance Theatre class are April 25th at 2:45 in room 2103. See Mrs. Pope for requirements and details. Any student who is interested in going to New York City over Spring Break next year, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 17th at 6:00pm in Mrs. Votaw’s room, 1107. Come hear about this exciting trip and what amazing sites you will see. Bring a parent and show up on Tuesday. For more information, see Mrs. Votaw in room 1107. Don’t miss the Slightly Better Talent Show and Really Good Art Show on Thursday, April 19th in the Theatre. Tickets are only $5.00, but bring extra money to vote for your favorite act or to buy food from the lobby! Show starts at 7 pm, Doors open at 6:30 pm. Art Club will be selling REALLY GOOD coffee as well. Ironman Volleyball will be here soon - Friday April 20th. Now that the teams are set. Remember to get to the finance office to pay for your shirt by April 13th. Have your permission slip signed and ready for the first practice on Wed April 18th. See you then. For all those that want to watch the Juniors take on the Seniors in what has almost always been a great match up, the cost will be 5$ at the door. Game time is 7:00 but come early so you can watch the teams dance their way into warmup for the game!! A must see for all!!

Club Announcements: Drama Club: There will be a drama club meeting on April 18th in the theatre. We have elections of new officers and information on all other stuff theatrical! Please plan to attend.

Class Announcements: Juniors who was selected to participant in the Experience Berkeley Program your application is due Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Contact Mrs. Brown for your transcript. SENIORS: New scholarships available: Laurelglen Elementary, Old River Elementary and Kern Co. Law Enforcement. Pick up in the Resource Center. SENIORS! Your annual ROLLERAMA night is Monday the 23rd. Get ready to have lots of fun skating or falling with your friends. 6:30-8:30pm, Rollerama west on Brimhall/Coffee. Pay $6.00 at the gate and the cost includes skates. Wear your ultimate mustang shirt and bring your school ID.
