PROGRAM!
Guidance – is something that
provides direction or advice as to a decision or
course of action
Program – is a series of steps to
be carried out or goals to be accomplished
WHAT IS GUIDANCE PROGRAM?

Guidance Program- impart specific skills and learning opportunities in a
proactive, preventive manner, ensuring all students can
achieve school success through academic, career and
personal/social development experiences.
Did you know that..
Guidance Program- Ensure that the needs of the
students are met. - Here are the needs of the
students:
Academic – learning to learn
Career – learning to work Personal/Social – learning to live
Community Involvement – learning to contribute
There are also a Specific Objectives for the Guidance
Program. Here are some:
1. To assist each students in knowing
himself as an individual and as a member of society.
2. To study, analyze, and make available
for counseling.
3. To collect and make readily
available pertinent occupational and
vocational information needed.
4. To encourage the use and development
of community resources, both
human and material.
5. To provide wholesome and
challenging activities.
6. To make available the information
obtained through the guidance program.
7. To assist the student in contacting the proper agencies.
