120 people were injured in the fighting. A ceasefire was being
negotiated but failed and fighting resumed on Sunday. Reuters
reported four killed in the renewed clashes on Sunday with the
militias firing heavy anti-aircraft cannon, Grad missiles and even
rockets. Some families were trapped in Qasr Ben Ghasir area, while
several thousand others were able to flee as the fighting spread
into a residential neighborhood. Jilani al-Dahesh an airport
security official said on Sunday: ""The airport was attacked this
morning with mortar rounds, rockets and tank fire. It was the most
intense bombardment so far."" The Zintan militias are loosely

and God knows what will happen next. The planes have been damaged
by shrapnel in the fighting." However, he also said that some
planes could be repaired in Libya, but others would be sent to
Tunisia, France, and Germany as there are maintenance agreements
with companies there. Among the planes completely destroyed were an
Airbus A330 airliner, and a Bombardier Inc. CRJ. According to the
Libyan civil aviation authority 21 aircraft valued at about $2
billion were damaged during the fighting that lasted a week. The
security situation in Libya is so risky that the Philippines
Department of Foreign Affairs ordered the almost 13,000 Philippine
nationals in the country to evacuate immediately because of the
"extremely unstable political and security situation." Filipinos
