GOOD AFTERNOON! THANK ____________FOR THE INVITATION TO JOIN YOU TODAY TO DISCUSS LOGISTICS INNOVATION TO SUPPORT AN AGILE AND ADAPTABLE FORCE. LET ME START BY ASKING ALL OF US TO TAKE A 20 MINUTE BREAK, STEP BACK FROM OUR IMMEDIATE TACTICAL CONCERNS AND IMAGINE…
BUILD SLIDE Description: CFDM – What Is It? Message: Sustainment is the primary interface to our customer, through this interface we can build rewarding long-term relationships. If we don’t, our competitors will take advantage of the opportunity we create. SCRIPT Our focus within LM should be on delivering products and services that affordably and reliably meet our customer’s needs. {BUILD} We need to leverage the power of the enterprise… using technology to extract value from the field (field service representatives and performance data) and our investments (facilities, tools, and skills). {BUILD} When we are focused on our customer’s capabilities needs we will focus on assuring that that our products & services are continuing to perform through the use of “best-in-class” services. We need to be aware of changes in mission or operating environments and help our customers adapt throughout the lifecycle. {BUILD} Through CFDM we will effectively and affordably meet our customer’s sustainment needs, build customer loyalty, and grow the business.
FINALLY, AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS OFFER GREAT OPPORTUNITIES AS FORCE MULTIPLIERS TAKEN TOGETHER, WE HAVE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO CAPITALIZE ON EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES TO FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM LOGISTICS INTO AN AGILE, AFFORDABLE DELIVERY SYSTEM THAT ENABLES AN EFFECTIVE DETERRENT POSTURE LET ME CONTINUE OUR JOURNEY, WITH A WORD OF CAUTION
