library.
We have comfy places to visit,
read, and study.
There are 31 computers, a
scanner, and a printer for
students to use.
Important Stuff: Students must have an Internet Agreement on
file and follow SPS policies when using any
school computers.
Did you know that black & white printing for school papers and projects is available for FREE? And color printing is only 25 per page? Ruff!
There are more than 30 different
magazines and newspapers for you
to check out.
There are 1000’s of fiction titles on the tall shelves for you
to check out, including books and audio recordings.
On the shorter shelves you’ll also find 1000’s of non-fiction books to help with your school work.
The reference area is in the middle and has
great general information books like
encyclopedias, almanacs, and atlases.
How many books can I check out?
And for how long?
Great Question!
You may check out 5 items at a time.
Books can be kept for 2 weeks and renewed once.
Magazines can be kept for 1 week.
Movies and Reference Books are only checked
out for 1 night.
What if I need to
turn in a book before
7:30 or after 3:30?
Use the book return…
… located in the
hallway just
outside the
library door.
What if I don’t find the
information I need in a book?
Visit the library’s Web page…
…for databases, online resources, and writing tools,
and the library catalog.
Is there anything else
I need to know aboutthe library?
There is a work area with supplies for you to use as your working on
those big projects.
There are even great table areas for work, study, and reading.
Important Stuff: Eating and
drinking are NOT allowed in the library, so…
