Self-Access Programmes Speaking Assistance Programme (SAP)
◦ The SAP is available to students to improve their oral fluency. With many opportunities to speak and interact with other students and native speaking English tutors, students’ gain confidence in speaking so they are better prepared to cope with the demands of their University studies and future careers.
◦ The Centre for English and Additional Languages (CEAL) provides a number of language activities in the MLLC. Below is the Schedule and Registration link for the Speaking Assistance Programme, workshops, and drop in hours.

Speaking Assistance Programme (SAP)SAP Workshops
◦ Workshops are held regularly on many different topics. These topics may be related to immediate academic needs such as improving pronunciation and reading skills, or the workshops may be of general interest such as travelling in the USA, talking about media or understanding current idioms and slang.
SAP Drop-in hours◦ Students are encouraged to book specific appointments
to ensure there are places available for the Speaking Assistance Programme and scheduled workshops, however there are drop in hours available where no appointments are necessary. All SAP activities are available for drop-in if the class quota is not filled.

Self Access Language Programmes Writing Assistance Programme
(WAP)◦ The Writing Service Programme (WAP) is
run by CEAL's Visiting English Tutors (VETs) and is open to undergraduate students at Lingnan University.
◦ Sessions run 20 minutes and provide personalised writing assistance. The WAP is located on the 2nd floor of the LBY Building, room 205.
