Be «Niagara» – Our VISION
Niagara believes in a sustainable world,
where pure and available resources supply
the present and future needs of people and
communities.
Niagara, from its side, strongly believes, it is
involved and contributes to the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals to
«transform our world».
«Niagara» Values – Our MISSION
Niagara joins an integrated
set of innovations creating a
ready-to-use water treatment
solution dramatically reducing
the use of raw-water during
the beverage preparation
processes within the Food &
Beverage (F&B) Industry.
This means,
LESS WATER …
… MORE DRINKS!

With «Niagara» – Our SOLUTION
Niagara is the full-scale solution collecting polluted (salty, turbid
and contaminated) streams of wastewater from the F&B lines
(Reverse Osmosis retentate, fillers, syrup room, cooling towers,
CIP washings, etc.) to locally purify and reuse it, setting up a
virtuous local closed-loop water chain saving thousands of litres
of raw-water per day from the immediate draining.
Fully customised toward the target wastewater quantity
(scalability) and quality (modularity), Niagara allows water
recovery ratios up to 55% adopting highly pure ultra-filtration
and RO membrane technologies.

Activated Carbon Filter
This unit is tailored to neutralise the
oxidant agents present in the
wastewater flows. Ex. F&B industry adds Peracetic Acid (PPE)
to wash bottles before filling.
Pre-filtration
self-cleaning unit
This unit removes the mostly
rough suspended impurities
(up to 150 µm) creating the
best water conditions for the
following ultra-filtration stages.
Ultra-filtration membranes
This unit cuts off all the suspended
matter to reduce turbidity and the
suspended solids within admitted
limits (up to 75 nm). The PVDF ultra-
filtration membranes are safe, easy
use and easy wash with
performance above 90%.
Reverse Osmosis
purification unit
This unit separates
solutes (salts) with an
overall performance
above 60% getting
ultra-pure water.
Supervising, Monitoring & Control Board
This is the brain of Niagara allowing
stand-alone continuous working,
scheduling and performing the daily
cleanings, managing data and
performance collection, controlling the
plant. Easy use and low consuming, it
adds much value to any wastewater
recovery solution.

«Niagara» Wins – Our EU ADDED VALUE
The EU has about 5,000 bottling
lines distributed in about 1,500
bottling plants. Given the
average consumption of water of
about 30,000 l/h, the impact of
Niagara is enormous. A market
share of 3% means an estimated
reduction in water consumption
of more than 205 billion of litres
per year, equal to more than 430
M€ in costs.
Niagara promotes:
Circular economy, reusing local high value resources
Green thinking, introducing green and low carbon techs
EU brands, adding values to F&B companies instead of
setting up cost competition
Social responsibility, promoting awareness in the blue gold
Responsible production, joining business to sustainability
