If no measures would be taken the annual water and energy consumption in EU for household washing machines ispredicted to be "Yv5- Million m3 and 37P7 TWh in "v"v /Commission Regulation n° -v-5j"v-v)Y The reduction of waterand energy consumption is therefore one of the top priorities for the EU in the next yearsY In line with the Europeanregulation the SPRAY project improves the ecoAdesign features of washing machines and establishes a new referencepoint in the market for what concern waterP energy and detergent usageY

SPRAY technology is unique in keeping the same customer satisfaction on wash and rinse performances while reducingat the same time the water consumption of an average of 27", energy consumption of at least 5" with an average ofmore than 10" and detergent quantity of about 5".
