It is time to sleep, Oh embodiment of eternal bliss, Oh Mukunda(Bestower of mukti or liberation)!

Come Oh bundle of joy, Oh enchanting Govinda!(the name Govinda has several meanings)

andamuga vArinDla aaDucunDangA mandalaku donga mA muddu ranga

jO achyutAnanda jO jO mukundA ||

Oh dear Ranga(enchanter of minds) You are unavailable to ignorant masses(mandalaku donga). At Nanda’s house, You play tricks on gopikas with faces bright as the Moon, enchanting them, while they serve you with

tender love.

mElugA vasudEvu kodukuvainAvu bAluDai yunDi gOpAluDainAvu

jO achyutAnanda jO jO mukundA You reclined on the Milky ocean and assuredprotection to the sages, You came as the son of Vasudeva and as a child you became the shepherd for the cows.
