The College of Engineering at Florida Tech includes seven departments thatadminister multiple engineering and applied science programs. The departmentsare chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer sciences, electrical andcomputer engineering, marine and environmental systems, and mechanical andaerospace engineering. Engineering management and systems engineering aregraduate programs offered in the department of engineering systems. TheCollege of Engineering supports several research institutes, centers andlaboratories including the Information Processing Laboratory (IPL). Researchersin the IPL are actively involved in many computational intelligence researchprojects, these are federally funded as well as funded projects from industry.
