Mission Critical Proof of Concept with HPE Superdome X and SQL Server

Prerequisites

Are you facing any of the following issues:

• Peak performance issues

• High availability for mission critical applications

• Constrained virtualization

• Data science performance - integrated R

• Highly transactional, mission critical systems -- Query Store -- improving query tuning

The latest versions of SQL Server now offer never before seen enhancements to query tuning, scalability, end user reporting and predictive analytics.

• Rack space and power capacity to support the new hardware• POC hardware needs to be installed and configured with appropriate network and storage (lead time for POC hardware request is expected to be 3 weeks)• Workload traces which can be replayed. We need workload traces of the current environment. We need to understand to the specific goals they are seeking to achieve (e.g. long running job, business pain points, normalized database reporting, memory pressure in reporting, high transaction processing count).• Development environment deployed and ready for development o Tools installed: SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio• Access to source code repository location for solution artifacts• Access to infrastructure and applications in scope• Network account with access to SQL Server and other applicable platforms• Workspace identified for Pragmatic Works consultant when onsite• VPN access to network or equivalent to support remote development
