Sole Proprietorship in Armenia
• The company can be established and managed by one single person
• The shareholder is fully liable on the debts and obligations in this type of company
Limited Liability Company
• The company can be opened by one or more persons
• The shareholders should fully pay the initial capital
• The profits are divided between shareholders
Joint Stock Company
• The minimum share capital for an open JSC is 1.000 times the minimum monthly wage
• The shareholders must fully pay the minimum share capital.
• The shareholders should establish the nominal value of the shares.
• The shareholders liability is limited to the value of their possessed share
Closed Joint Stock Company
• The capital is divided between shareholders, with limited liability for each shareholder
• The company cannot sell the shares to the public
• Required minimum capital is reduced to 100 times the minimum monthly wage
General Partnership
• This type of company can be established by at least two persons
• The shareholders are general
• The shareholders support full liability to the company's debts and obligations to the extent of their personal assets.
Limited Partnership
• This type of company can be established by two or more persons
• This company should have at least one general member who has the right to manage the company, and at least one member is a limited partner

Requirements for Company Formation in Armenia
• Any person of any nationality or residence can be shareholder in an Armenian company

• There is no minimum must for the share capital, but the shareholders can deposit approximately 50,000 AMD (around 90 EUR)
