Formed in 2006, the HKICS dragon boat team comprises of HKICS members, graduates and students. Apart from building a team with great team spirit, the team provides a valuable opportunity for members’ networking and friendship, as well as personal challenges and satisfaction.
The HKICS dragon boat team is recruiting paddlers for the upcoming races in 2018. Practice sessions will be held on every Saturday commencing in March 2018 at Shing Mun River. HKICS will fully sponsor the training conducted by a professional coach and race fees. Members, graduates, students and their companions are welcome to join and have fun!
Training details (Total: 22 sessions)
Date: March 3, 10, 17, 24; April 7, 14, 21, 28
May 5, 12, 19, 26; June 2, 9, 16, 30
July 7, 14, 21, 28; August 4, 11
Time: 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Note: 1. All team members must be capable of swimming 100M. 2. The group personal accident insurance is included. 3. Each paddler will receive a dragon boat team T-shirt.
