M-Boss stainless steel (S316) markers are
used to identify cables and pipes in all areas
where severe environmental, mechanical
or chemical conditions occur; e.g. offshore /
petrochemical industry, shipbuilding,
railways, and mining. The M-Boss Printer is
easy to install and run, and is both quiet
and clean. The electrically driven system can
operate from an ordinary office power
source; there is no need for an air supply.
The printer is able to work on offshore
platforms using a 60Hz power source. As
the markers are embossed, there is no metal
waste or metallic dust.
The 4mm high characters are marked with
a computer driven stainless steel embossing
machine with supplied software.
A range of 4 marker sizes is now available;
10 characters with 60 mm tags, 15
characters with 80 mm tags, 20 characters
with 100 mm tags. Also available is a
double line option to create a maximum of
40 characters with a wider 100 mm tag.
The supplied M-Boss Cassette of 10 markers
is palm sized. The cassette is used for
marker production and can then be taken
by installers to their place of work. The
marked strips can be “fanned out” from the
magazine so enabling the installer to quickly
identify which marker is needed.
Use HellermannTyton metal cable ties up to
8mm wide to attach the markers.

Printed Ties
In today’s ever changing environment there
is greater emphasis on having identification,
traceability and audit trail systems in place
to help operate your business both
effectively and efficiently.
HellermanTyton can now offer a range of
Printed Ties to meet these requirements,
whether you need to identify Pipes for
example with GAS or WATER or Cables,
with LIVE or NEUTRAL, we are able to
provide a simple cost effective solution.
Our most popular printed ties are those that
are sequentially numbered and are used to
provide traceability and an audit trail for

We supply our products to clients in the
following areas, utility companies,
healthcare food processing, agriculture, hire
shops and companies carrying out servicing
and calibration.
Tamper Evident Security Seals
“S” Range of Pull Tight Security Seals.
HellermannTyton provide a range of Tamper
Evident security seals and Pluglok distribution
box seals, that are printed with a unique serial
number. This allows a secure audit trail to be
created and easily alerts users of the system
that a package or shipment has been
tampered with.
The range includes both fixed length and pull
tight seals, that provide tamper evidence for a
wide range of applications from sealing cash
and mail bags, to securing vehicle doors and
roll cages.
HellermannTyton will supply these products
un-printed, to be used as a simple but effective
closure, but we recommend that to achieve
the maximum level of security, all of these
products should be sequentially numbered.
Our Pluglok range of seals provide an effective
closure for a variety of plastic storage and
attached lid containers, that are now
commonly used in the retail industry for
transporting goods from distribution centres
to high street outlets.
The Pluglok range incorporate tabs that when
lifted and twisted, enable the top and bottom
sections to break away at specifically designed
points. This allows the seals to be removed
without the need for any cutting tools.
When the adjoining sections of the box lids
are closed, the seals are simply pushed into
the location holes. This offers a substantial
time saving when compared to using a
conventional Pull Tight Seal.

PEEK
PEEK Ties will withstand temperatures from
-55° C up to +260° C. Their chemical
resistance, even against acid and gamma
radiation is excellent. Furthermore they
have good abraison resistance. With as
little as 4.5mm≈ strap cross-section it holds
a tensile strength of 230N, but needs only
6N insertion force. The design offers a
good ratio weight to tensile strength.
The contoured head takes up less space
therefore usage in areas with space
restrictions are ideal. Due to the outside
serrations, PEEK Ties minimise any indentation
or damage to cable insulation.

The PEEK Tie has been designed for the
Ministry of Defence and Aircraft industry in
co-operation with leading companies, being
ideal for high temperature applications.
Its performance will be well suited to
the drilling industry, railway, offshore or
automotive industry.
The PEEK Tie is an extraordinary product,
combinining the mechanical performance
and resistance to environmental influence
of a metal tie, with the ease of use of a
polyamide cable tie.

The ever increasing demands for tighter
bundles in cable installations has led to
problems with the conventional inside
serrated cable tie design, causing damage
to cable insulation, particularly in vibration
environments.
The Outside Serrated range of ties over-
comes these problems offering high tensile
strengths, low insertion forces and a smooth
surface to the insulation minimising
indentation. The curved head allows the tie
to follow the contours of the cable and take
up less space than other cable tie designs.
Applications - These ties are used in many
areas where thin - walled or soft insulation
wires and cable are being installed e.g. mass
transit, data installations and electronics.
Metal Content Ties
The HellermanTyton Metal Content Tie is
a cable tie specifically designed for use in
the food and pharmaceutical processing
industries.
A unique manufacturing process, involving
the inclusion of a metallic pigment, enables
the tie to be detected more readily than a
standard cable tie (through metal detection
process control equipment).
Applications – Ideally suited for electrical
cabling both on plant and within areas
adjacent to manufacturing process. Can be
part of the Hazardous Analysis of Critical
Control Point (HACCP), a pro-active process
control system by which food quality is
ensured, greatly reducing the risk of
contamination leading to loss and liability.
A safe and un-contaminated production process with MCT.

IP66 Wall Mounted Steel Enclosures
Wall Mounted Steel enclosures are made from
a continuous length of sheet steel double-
folded at the front, which gives the enclosure
strength as well as minimising water ingress
entry points.
The enclosures are finished in RAL-7032 epoxy
resin paint both internally and externally which
aids in protecting the enclosure from corrosion.
All our standard single door Wall Mounted
enclosures have a IP66 rating, which is achieved
through a foamed in polyurethane door gasket.
Internally the enclosure comes complete with
welded studs at the rear which allow for a
quick easy fixing of the mounting plate.
Enclosures
Safety Considerations Icon
Does the enclosure need to withstand weather elements?
Is protection against dust and water ingress important?
Will the enclosure be located where security is a concern?
In addition its mounting plate supports are
depth adjustable allowing various different
types of equipment to be accommodated
easily.
The door of the enclosure has been cleverly
designed with the needs of the installer in
mind. The door can be opened to a 120º
angle, which provides good access to the
enclosure for mounting large equipment
without the need to remove the doors. It is
very quick and easy to the reverse the doors
on the CRN range which allows installations to
be undertaken in the most awkward
installations. A glazed door model is also
available which features tempered glass.
The Benefits of GRP (Glass-fibre Reinforced Polyester)
Halogen Free
No toxic fumes
Waterproof
IP66 Rating for wall mounting, IP65 for
floor standing
Easy to Machine
Much easier to cut out panels for switches,
fans, etc
Self-Extinguishing
Fireproof additives enables the enclosure to
self extinguishThe rear of the door also features
reinforcement pillars, which allows equipment
and controls to be mounted directly onto the
door without affecting the enclosures rigidity.
The new shortened latch improves resistance
to bending whilst also improving security.
All Wall Mounted Steel enclosures feature a
cable entry gland as standard for easy cable
induction.
