Living Stewardship . . . Pillar of Prayer
Jesus loves us more than we can imagine. When you pray to Him, do not be afraid to ask Him to guide you through your sufferings.

Parish Updates: Mass Schedules and Guidelines
We have resumed weekday and weekend Masses, Weddings, Baptisms and Funeral Masses at St. Agnes Cathedral under limited capacity. Please see the following information regarding our revised schedule as well as the precautions that we must take as we gather once again for the Sacraments. Because of the need to sanitize the Cathedral between Masses, we have had to alter our regular Mass schedule. It is with the desire that we gather reverently, safely and legally that we bring this information to you.
Weekend Mass Schedule

Please enter the Cathedral through the doors on Quealy Place (except for those who need to use the handicap door). Please keep a six foot distance from the person in front of you. On the weekends, a special team of ushers will assist you in finding a seat. For safety and order, a person will not be able to choose a specific seat.
Per state regulations gatherings cannot exceed 25% of occupancy and must take into account social distancing of six feet between people or households. This means approximately 4 people in every 3rd pew with an occupancy of approximately 225 people. Once we reach our occupancy limit, we will not be able to admit others. Your charity, cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
Except for children under the age of 2 or people with breathing difficulties, a face mask or other facial covering must be worn in church. Please provide your own mask. We also encourage you to bring a bottle of hand sanitizer.
For safety reasons, the hymnals have been removed from the Church. There will be no entrance,
offertory or recessional procession. The Sign of Peace as well as the ministering of the Precious Blood will continue to be suspended. Holy Water fonts will remain empty; however, the Holy Water dispenser is available for those wishing to bring Holy Water home with them.
Holy Communion will be distributed at the conclusion of Mass. Those receiving will approach row by row (keeping a six foot safe distance from the person in front of you) and those not receiving are asked to leave at this time. Whether receiving or not, please leave quietly and reverently through the door to which you are directed by an usher. It is preferred that Communion at this time be received in one’s hand. Please place your hand out very straight and flat to allow the minister to place the Eucharist safely in your hand in order to avoid contact with your hand.
Due to sanitary concerns, the bathrooms in the Cathedral will not be available. Please plan accordingly.
Please do not congregate near the doors of the church after exiting the Church.

Adoration of
the Blessed
Sacrament
Jesus is waiting for you!
Eucharistic Adoration is the traditional Catholic practice of taking the consecrated host, the Blessed Sacrament, and placing it in a sun-shaped vessel called a Monstrance in order for the
faithful to look upon Our Lord and pray to Him in peaceful contemplation. You are invited to join us every Wednesday in the Cathedral from 2:30—5:00 p.m. for Adoration and some quiet reflection and prayer. We will offer this in place of our normal Friday Adoration in the Holy Cross Chapel, which is suspended for the time being. Please remember to sit in marked pews and maintain social distancing. All visitors must wear a mask inside the Cathedral (except for children under the age of 2 or people with breathing difficulties).
Cathedral and Chapel Hours
Please note the following revised hours: CATHEDRAL – Weekdays: Opens 6:00 AM, closes at 6:30 PM *Adoration will be held every Wednesday in the Cathedral from 2:30 – 5:00 PM with Benediction at 5:00 PM (in place of Friday Adoration) Weekends: Opens 6:30 AM, closes after the final Mass of the day. Help us Support A Place to Call Home
Charles spent 17 years deployed at military bases throughout the world. Returning home after an incident involving nerve gas, he began struggling with debilitating bouts of anxiety and depression.
His circumstances worsened and he couldn’t maintain a steady job. Charles moved in with his mother, but within a year she died and his childhood home went into foreclosure.
Catholic Charities’ Project Veterans’ Independence, which guides homeless veterans into permanent housing so they can live independently and have access to support networks that get them back on their feet, reached out and helped Charles.
“I was out of the service, out of a family, out of a job and out of a home. Catholic
Charities found me and helped me to not only find a place to live - but they helped
me to turn my life around.”
— Charles, honorably discharged US Veteran
