Short answer is no...
It is often impossible to know, when youorder furniture for your office or home,
what exactly will be included in the deliveryof that furniture:
INSIDEDELIVERY
LIFT GATERESIDENTIAL
TWO MAN
LIMITEDACCESS
SERVICES
ETC.
-Will it be brought inside or left at the curb?-Will it be lifted off the truck or require ateam to lift it off? -Will they come to the third floor? -Will they deliver to a school? -Will there be one or two delivery people?
In other words, what services do youneed? And how do you make sure,
when you order something, that youwill get the correct services?!?

How Do You Avoid Shipping Pitfalls?
To avoid common pitfalls in shipping, it isvery important to order from companies
who take your satisfaction seriously -putting you ahead of their bottom line
FACT: Many people choose the store they buy fromonly because they offer the cheapest price available.
(This is a bad idea).
YOU GET WHAT THEY PAYFOR
Cheapest pricing often leads to the use of the worst carriers, with no services addedon. So you might pay less, but your purchase will lead to lots of frustration, waiting,
and potentially damages.
The fact is that you get what THEY pay for.And often, if they are the cheapest price on the market, they must cut corners to eke
out a few dollars of profit on the sale. This is just not the type of business you want towork with, because they will provide you with a cut-rate carrier and shoddy services -
because that's all they can afford!
The less they pay for, The more issues you get.
So what should you do?1. Purchase from a solid company with a
great reputation.
2. Ask for the name of the carrier they willuse, and for a list of exactly which services
you will receive with the shipment.
3. Specifically request to add on inside delivery. Atop rate company will be glad to include it for you
(so your shipment isn't dropped at the curb).
4. When you receive your shipment, makeabsolutely sure you open and inspect it BEFORE
signing off on the delivery slip. Once you sign off,the carrier will treat it as a perfect shipment, even if
you find damages later.
