Hexagons TerraStar Precise Point Positioning (PPP) C-Pro service provides correction data at centimetre level
quality all around the globe. This service significantly enhances your productivity, when working in remote areas
without GSM coverage or where no reference data is available at all. Also no need to worry about reference
frames anymore.
The PPP position is provided within the coordinate system. The intelligent Q-Lock Pro automatically detects
available correction services and selects the one providing the highest accuracy.
The configuration and use of TerraStar C Pro Service is fully supported within the X-PAD Ultimate Field Software
What is Precise Point Positioning (PPP)?
Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) positioning method that
calculates very precise positions, with errors as small as a few centimetres under good conditions.
PPP is a combination of several sophisticated GNSS position refinement techniques that can be used with
near-consumer-grade hardware to yield near-survey-grade results.
PPP uses a single GNSS receiver, unlike standard RTK methods, which use a temporarily fixed base
receiver in the field as well as a relatively nearby mobile receiver. PPP methods overlap somewhat with

Zenith40 ConnectivityZenith40 supports a rugged LEMO™ connectordesigned for daily use under harshest conditions.LEMO, a Swiss company, is the acknowledged leader in the design and manufacture of precision custom connection and cable solutions.
While one port (TBC) is dedicated to an external UHF antenna, providing high transceiver performance in terms of rage and bandwidth, the second port can be used for connecting to an external high power radio, such as SATEL HPR2, or an external power supply for continuous operation as base, or for serial connection to external devices, such as echo sounder or simply USB for a quick and reliably transfer of large data amounts.
The inbuilt Bluetooth™ module allows to connect to any device, such as mobile phones, tablets or dataloggers to control the Zenith40.
