Fast-Paced Waterskiing and High-flying Daredevils Rev up Tommy Bartlett Show

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (May 1, 2017) – Summers on Lake Delton kick into high gear Memorial

Day weekend when the iconic Tommy Bartlett Show launches its 65th season with a menagerie of top-

notch waterskiing, high-flying daredevil acts and family-friendly comedy, all rolled into one 90-minute

live show. The classic water-ski, sky and stage show runs two shows daily through Labor Day

weekend in Wisconsin Dells.

“This year, long-time performers the Nerveless Nocks bring back the Wheel of Destiny, a

towering double-wheel that rotates end-over-end while they perform tricks atop the apparatus,” said

Tom Diehl, owner and general manager of the Tommy Bartlett Show.

The 65-foot Wheel of Destiny is a family affair, featuring Michelangelo and Carolina Nock and

their 19-year-old son Cyrus, performing tricks high above the crowd with no net below. It’s an audience

favorite, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.

Serving up the charm is returning act, Christian Stoinev and his little dog Scooby, who gained

national attention as finalists on “America’s Got Talent” a few years back. Stoinev is an extraordinary

acrobatic artist and is a fifth-generation circus performer. With skill and strength, Christian holds a

balancing pose with little Scooby perched atop. The adorable side-kick is a real show stealer.

Literally kicking the action up a notch are the Faustos Scorpions, with their fast-paced “risely”

foot-juggling routine. Once again, it’s all in the family as Toto Fausto uses only the power of his legs to

propel daughters Stephanie and Sherry into the air to perform flips and twists. The lighthearted dad-

and-daughters routine shows that a little bit of humor goes a long way.

Rounding out the stage show offerings is world-class juggler T.J. Howell, who dazzles

audiences with his spectacular juggling skill and upbeat humor. T.J. juggles a little bit of everything

from ping pong balls to bowling balls. Joining him on stage is his 16-year-old son Carson who shows

off his unicycle riding skills and throws in some comedic antics of his own.

On the water, the venerable Tommy Bartlett ski team goes full throttle with daring waterskiing

stunts and high-performance speedboats. Kick up your heels and leave your cares behind as our

skiers take you on a “Summer Vacation” tour of some of the most iconic travel destinations. Our skiers

are among the best in the sport today, showcasing fast-paced skiing, including jumps and flips,

barefooting and the signature three-tier human pyramid.

New to the mix this summer, extreme jet ski rider Evan Krefski joins the water show lineup.

Currently a leading world competitor in freestyle jet ski riding, Krefski will wow audiences when he

launches over the wake and out of the water, performing back flips, barrel rolls and 540-degree spins

with the jet ski.

Adding to the action, the new-age FlyBoard, flies high again. The wakeboard-type deck uses

water propulsion powered by a jet-ski, allowing a rider to hover over the water and shoot high into the

air to perform flips and twists, accentuated by a spectacular spray of water gushing from the bottom of

the apparatus. Using body movements, precision and balance, the performer can dive in and out of the

water like a dolphin. Other extreme water sports action includes tricks with wakeboards and the Sky

Ski, a special hydrofoil chair ski.

“Guests are often amazed by the talent we draw to the Tommy Bartlett Show,” Diehl said. “Our

deep history and dedication to watersports draws talent to us, as many want to include the Tommy

Bartlett Show on their water-ski résumé.”

When the sun goes down each night, one of the most spectacular sights takes flight – the

launch of our lighted hang-glider kite. Our adventurous pilot takes off from the Bartlett stage, towed by

a speedboat to a height of 700 feet above the crowd. The tow line is released and our performer

skillfully glides back down to the very spot from which he launched. It is one of the most breathtaking

highlights of the night.

Nighttime show goers are also treated to a Grand Finale featuring a colorful Entrancing

Waters fountain display set to a patriotic musical score.

The Tommy Bartlett Show is one of Wisconsin’s most-beloved classic attractions. Generations

of families have enjoyed a visit to the Show each summer during their Wisconsin Dells vacations. The

Tommy Bartlett Show runs daily, rain or shine, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend
