LOS OBJETIVOS
Generales:
- to contribute to citizens' understanding of the Union, its history
and diversity;
- The project also fits with the better understanding of
the Union’s history objective by working on the classical
narrative of peace and prosperity while also trying to
contribute on the narrative of the future.
- to foster European citizenship and to improve conditions for
civic and democratic participation at Union level.
- fostering European citizenship and improving
conditions for civic and democratic participation at
Union level because we will bring together European
citizens with elected representatives who hold in his hands
building the future of Europe
LOS OBJETIVOS
Específicos:
- raise awareness of remembrance, common history and values and the
Union's aim that is to promote peace, its values and the well-being of
its peoples by stimulating debate, reflection and development of
networks
- encourage democratic and civic participation of citizens at Union level,
by developing citizens' understanding of the Union policy making-
process and promoting opportunities for societal and intercultural
engagement and volunteering at Union level.
- FACTS fits in the specific aims of the programme by reflecting
in the shared history and values that all Europeans have been
told. We want to highlight that different personal stories about
Europe can have a common ground from where to build a different
narrative that goes beyond peace and prosperity regardless how
important that is. Also, the exchange between citizens and elected
representatives is not only an excellent opportunity to hatch
new ideas but to understand how policies are made in the EU
and how decisions are taken.
LOS OBJETIVOS
Prioridades específicas:
1. Debating the future of Europe and challenging Euroscepticism
1. the future of Europe and challenging Euroscepticism by
accepting the premise that rumours and fake news are
disseminated by Eurosceptic parties but also by actors that
are very important to the future of the Union.
2. Promoting solidarity in times of crisis
1. On the other hand, being aware that other citizens in other
member states a) share the same feelings and worries as
you and b) want a similar future for the EU as you do may
foster inter-European solidarity.
3. Fostering intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding and
combatting the stigmatisation of migrants and minority groups
