Film Festival (Festival of the Dhow Countries) in July.

• Some places of interest in Stone Town are the Livingstone Houses, the Guliani Bridge and the House of Wonders.
• The atmosphere at these festivals is awesome – we highly recommend a visit!
• The traditional Mwakakogwa Festival in July/August celebrates the local new year – Originating from Persia and marked by , dances and the actual field fighting
Recommendations• A 3 hours drive
from Stone Town, the village of Nungwi marks the north-west tip of Zanzibar.
• This area is surrounded on three sides by turquoise-blue oceans
• Diving, Beaches, and a Turtle sanctuary are all in the area.
Where to Stay • There is a variety of beach lodges available in different price
ranges (particularly suited to tourists who prefer to have their own private space.)
