Emerson Avenue at I-70 is a “Front Door” – a Gateway– to Eastside communities and institutions
Improve appearance in a way that is durable, appropriate in scale and character, and inviting
Provide a sense of entry to the eastside while defining individual neighborhoods

Project will extend from I-70 to Proposed Pennsy Trail extension
About 300 ft each direction on major cross streets

Grant announced in July of following year
Could take more than one year for grant
