"Love"
Love is cool and sometimes sweet But you'll never know
The next fool you'll meet
Love can also be cruel and ad Love can leave you heartborken And really mad .
You 'II try to get revenge and End up dead or maybe someone will bust your head .
"Life"
Life is beauty Life is grace Life is out living the human race .
Life can be good Life can be bad Life i the best thing you ever had .
Life is love Life i hate Life i te ting each other's fate .
Life can be swing Life can be a slide Life can be a very hard side .
Life can be fast Life can be slow But you'll never know When it's your time to go .
Life can be rich Life can be poor But when you're dead You're worth no more .
Both Poems were written by Herbert Wright
WORK Few persons realize how much of their happiness is dependent upon their work, upon the fact that they are kept busy and not left to feed upon themselves . Happiness comes most to persons who seck her least, and think least about it. It is not an object to be sought; it is a state to be induced . It must follow and not lead . It must overtake you, and not you overtake it. How important is health to happiness, yet the best promoter of health i something to do.
Bles ed is the man who has some congenial work, some occupation in which he can put hi . heart, and \\hich affords a complete outlet to all the forces there arc in him.

What Is Black
Is Black just the color of your skin
Is Black just drinking, party'n and having a good time
0!
Black is you, you as an individual striving to gain respect in the white-man's world .
Not walking down the street saying I am Black, I am Proud I am Somebody
Instead of saying I am Black and being nothing .
Be Black Be Proud
But mo t of all be somebody and hold on to your pride and self respect and have that answer to that never answered question what is Black.
