SURCAM is a fast moving, dynamic company with a focus on designing, developing and manufacturing high quality medical instrumentation. We specialize in the manufacturing of medical equipment and titanium abutments for dental implants.
SURCAM was established in 2002 by Mr. Asher Ben Shabbat, who had a desire to create a place where medical experts and clinicians can realize their ideas and medical innovations. Mr. Ben Shabbat offered his own vast mechanical knowledge and many years of experience in the development and production of medical equipment and created SURCAM, which is in essence a high quality environment for the development of outstanding mechanical devices for medical applications.

The SURCAM self-tapping S-Type implants orientation can be adjusted during insertion with high initial stability even in soft bone, which enables a smaller osteotomy, resulting in minimal bone loss and reduced trauma.The S-type implants are the optimal solution for immediate loading restoration.

Place the SOS Climb Drill 2T (SCD-172) in the guide. The speed must be under 80Rpm. Counter clockwise direction.While removing the screw, use repeated tapping movements through the drill guide.

Take the broken screw out!

Introduction
The screw head is precisely designed for merging with the abutment shape.

The interface angle creates a bigger contact surface for perfect centering and repeatability when tightening the abutment screw in the lab or on the implant. The angle at the top of the screw creates a larger contact area which requires a high opening torque.

The hex is paral le l to the implant hex, wich enables better positioning achieving good aesthetic restoration.
TiN coatingTiN coatings only modifies surface properties and has no effect on the substrate properties or biomechanical functionality.
Biocompatibility: Biocompat ib i l i ty of T iN has been demonstrated in numerous published studies. It is known to improve friction, and has a significantly higher degree of surface scratch resistance compared to other materials.
Titanium body
The Titanium body can be use as a titanium abutment for temporary or final restoration.
Plastic Cap in two heights
The Plastic caps are machined in order to maintain the flexibility of the material and enable the release of the cap at up to 25º angle. It also maintaines the accuracy.

The SURCAM system relies on a unique design of a hug ring made of PEEK, ii.e.Poly Ether Ether Ketone (PEEK). For more information go to: http://www.emdt.co.uk/article/use-peek-advanced-active-implants.
The PEEK polymer shows excellent resistance to stress and Plastic deformations, which extends the life of the product beyond the lives of other alternatives products that are available on the market.
The unique mechanical and elastic properties of PEEK allow for a large diameter of spherical hug, resulting a very high grip force. The geometry of the titanium abutment (base unit ring) and the accompanying PEEK attachment create a large contact area, ensuring excellent stability of the prosthesis and comfort to the patients.
The wise lock abutment is designed with full hexagon and prosthetic screw.This design eliminate the micro movements and prevent the screw release.This abutment design is a big advantage compering to the previous monoblock design.
Tin coating Wear resistance: extremely high wear resistance towards bone cement.Abrasion: low friction; significant increase of scratch resistance of the surface.Reduction of allergy potential by reduction of ion release to the detection limit.Outstanding biocompatibility of TiN (was proved in several publications).

The wide contact area is possible because of the wide range of angles: 0°, 9°, 18°, 30°, 45° and wide range of heights: 1 mm up to 4 mm. The availability of these options allows a near-perfect match for the contact areas between the titanium abutment (base unit ring) and the PEEK attachment.
When mounting the WISE LOCK SYSTEM, it is critical to verify up to 5° parallelism between the PEEK attachment and the base abutment.

Replacing the PEEKs holding attachment is very simple. Threading the WCT 900 special tool into the threaded hole in the PEEK attachment - will cause the ejection of the PEEK part, as shown.
Put the new peek attachment into the oposite side of the special tool.

Internal Hex 11° Conical Fit Platform. The C-Type Implant’s cylindrical body is designed to maximize initial stability in soft bone. The shallow cutting edges on its threads are specifically designed for soft bone indications and minimize pressure on hard bone. The connection platform has high mechanical strength and a double hex that offers 12 prosthetic positions with a 30° deviation. The C-Type Implant is very stable during placement with the option of immediate restoration and loading.

Surcam’s Implants are packed in sterille tubes where they remain until required. The implants are protected by a specially designed stainless steel “Implant carrier” which both protects them physically, and is also a tool that guides the dental surgeon to insert them in the patient’s mouth at the desired orientation. The implant carrier support max. 40Ncm torque and should be replaced with a suitable tool for higher torques if required. This is done without any direct contact with the implant surface.
