Understanding Empathy:
� The more affected we are by something, the more
Emotional Empathy we have
� Cognitive Empathy allows us to take the perspective of
someone else
� Compassionate Empathy is an action demonstrating
empathy (offering kind words, giving a donation, etc.)
� Social Desirability Bias: the desire to look good in front of
other people
