Why Cyclescheme?
• Replacing interest free loan to buy a bicycle. • Some shops offered discounts (as TfW discounts).
• A short survey - feedback was positive• Greater opportunity for staff savings • Registered shops cover most of Cambridge
• Staff still get discounts - not on Cyclescheme.

Employee hires the bike for 12 months -can then buy it at fair market value (~5%)
Employee chooses bike and receives quote
Employee completes the request online
Eligibility check via email to payroll department
Payment made on following payment run
Cyclescheme vouchers sent on payment
Voucher collected and agreement is signed (by supervisor and employee)
Invoice sent by Cyclescheme fortnightly (Friday)
Email received containing hire agreement
Request is approved or declined online
Cyclescheme
• Admin time is minimal
• The online system is simple
• Payroll need to check eligibility and that deductions won’t take below threshold
*Absolute Maximum 15 minutes for administrator and around 10 minutes for payroll.

The Trust is committed to reducing single occupancy car use to and from the site as part of the Access to Addenbrooke’s Travel Plan
