Message of Chairman
The subject of communications has become crucial for to-day’s Managers, given the complexity of business operations across increasing locations, time spans and people. The ever increasing pressure on time and attention span has brought forth the importance of simple and effective communication.
Effective presentation, both oral and with the aid of technology, is yet another requirement for to-days’ professionals. This demands sensitivity to one’s core values, beliefs and commitment to a higher purpose. Given the prevailing turbulent environment in business, this aspect becomes not only relevant but imperative to to-day’s employees.
The training programme, therefore, aims to help officials communicate more effectively

and in tune with the needs of to-day’s business environment. The broader goal will be to establish a satisfying and fulfilling engagement. I am sure the proposed training programmes will benefit officials to improve, upgrade and unlock their talent and strengths in communication including their soft skills and transactional capabilities which are vital for professional enhancement and growth in to-day’s globally exposed and dynamic business environment.

Message Of Director (Personnel)
Central Warehousing Corporation, Schedule-A Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking provides total quality service of global standards in the field of warehousing, logistic services and related activities with value addition to the customers’ satisfaction, transparent systems and has become a quality leader in the field of warehousing and logistics.
We in CWC are not just a group of people coming together to work on a daily basis but it is a team/unit that works together in order to achieve a collective goal and ultimately generate profits for the business. That is precisely we feel that it is important to train the staff adequately.
There are two processes - Training and Organizational Development – both are often closely connected. Training is an educational process. People can learn new information, re-learn and reinforce existing knowledge and skills, and most importantly have time to think and consider what new options can help them improve their effectiveness at work. Training can be used as a proactive means for developing skills and expertise to prevent problems from arising and can also

be an effective tool in addressing any skills or performance gaps among staff. Organizational Development is a process to build the capacity to achieve and sustain a new desired state that benefits the organization. Organizational Development can be used to create solutions to workplace issues, before they become a concern or after they become identifiable problem.
In CWC over the years, the training programmes have been structured covering all the functional areas to meet the changing requirements. The adequately planned and well executed training programmes are also extended to the employees of State Warehousing Corporations and other stake holders.
CWC has taken over the management of training functions of the IGMRI, Hapur and developed it as a Centre of Excellence for the purpose of Training in the field of Post Harvest Management of agricultural commodities besides conducting other training programmes of CWC.
I hope that the training programmes mentioned in the calendar will be beneficial to the officials of the organizations in improving their morale, helping them to be well acquainted with the job and need less of supervision, less wastage of time & efforts, acquiring skills & efficiency required for doing a particular job and more proficient and will contribute to organizational success.

A Negotiable PaperOrigin: 1928

1949 Govt. of India appointed RURAL BANKING ENQUIRY COMMITTEE which considered two causes of action
Construction of chain of warehouses by the State as recommended by Gadgil Committee.Provision of loans/ subsidies to cooperative institutions/ commercial banks for building their own godowns.
1951 In August, RBI Constituted All India Rural Credit Survey Committee (AIRCSC) which surveyed 1,27,343 families in 600 villages of 75 districts and highlighted the lack of:
