What is Quality Management System

A quality management system is a management technique used to communicate to employees what is required to produce the desired quality of products and services and to influence employee actions to complete tasks according to the quality specifications.

TCCMS is there integrated quality management program, which holds all of their operations system wide to the same standards for production and distribution of their beverages.With TCCMS it is insured that- The understanding of quality

TCCMS works through a pyramid model.

Each one of the three main façades of the pyramid consists of the following four layers –

The global nature of Coca – Cola requires that their system has the highest standards and processes to ensure consistent quality -- from our concentrate production to our bottling and product delivery.

To ensure such consistency and reliability, the Coca-Cola system is governed by the Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (KORE), a new management system which replaced TCCMS in January 2010.

KORE guarantees the highest standards in product safety and quality, occupational safety and health and environmental standards across the entire manufacturing and distribution process.

Outlines clear requirements for the policies, specifications and programs that guides the operations.

Integrates business and quality objectives and aligns them with consistent metrics to monitor performance.

Integrates preventive action as a management tool with more rigorous demands when introducing new products and services.

Incorporates Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) into the system standards.

Manages risks in the bottling operations and across the supply chain.

Defines problem-solving methods and tools to drive consistent quality with improvements.

The new KORE focuses on quality and sustainability to meet current and future stakeholder demands.Quality and operational control no longer comes from the top down, but, instead, is the responsibility of the people in the operations at all levels of the supply chain.Coca-Cola ensures that the world’s most acknowledged Quality Assurance mechanisms have tested your drink before you taste your favourite beverage. The Coca-Cola quality system Assurance layer meets the intent of international standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. SGS and Lloyds of London, internationally recognized registrars, benchmarked The Coca-Cola Quality System against ISO 9001:2000(Quality) and ISO 14001(Environmental).

Each organizational level within the Coca-Cola system must adhere to the following objectives –Gold Standard of QualityProduce, store, handle and distribute intermediate and final products of the Company in accordance with approved processes and procedures that meet The Coca-Cola Company requirements and specifications.Management SystemsImplement quality policy, standards and management programs; ensure the provision of resources necessary to achieve the organization’s quality objectives; and foster continual improvement in quality performance.
