“CHE” GUEVARA: A SHORT BIOGRAPHY. Ernesto Che Guevara was born on June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina. His mother was Celia de la Serna and his

father was Ernesto Guevara Lynch. He had two brothers (Juan Martín and Roberto) and two sisters (Ana and Celia).

He was a Marxist revolutionary, author, intellectual, guerrilla leader, diplomat and military theorist.

He was one of the most important figures of the Cuban Revolution together with Fidel Castro. He also organized

revolutionary campaigns in Congo and Bolivia. He married twice and he had five children.

He died in October 9, 1967 in Bolivia, where he was executed by the Bolivian government while he was leading a

revolutionary guerrilla in that country.
