Their primary use isin assisting the method planner in gath-ering highest quality information, whichcan then be used to define the best pos-sible process sequence for manufac-turing the sheet metal product.

Actas advanced developments forCATIA V5 include:
- Fast and easy analysing of sheet metalproducts against critical deep draw,cutting and punch parameters. Thegraphical output and the dynamicresponse enables the user to definethe most optimised manufacturing pro-cess. The graphical assistance givesquick 'global' analysis whilst the nume-rical output is ideal for in-depth detailanalysis.
- An easy to use function with multi plefeatures to perform a variety of con-tour mappings onto different surfacegeometries. The user is offereddiverse parameters and controlfeatures to perform a fast andaccurate mapping result of com-
plex shaped contours.
