Design principles
Patient choice
– given a choice on how to connect with their clinical teams, including via 3rd
party apps, websites, and devices.
Security & Governance
– N3 data standards are the minimum for any IG framework and data system
management.
– NHS number as a key identifier
– be able to be integrated into the GP care record system
Interoperability
– Platform APIs are published with no charge for accessing them.
– Where integration has already been built into the platform – such as with GP
and hospital systems - there is no charge to use this integration (although
API charges & licence restrictions may still apply from the 3rd party).
